Today the students taught some great lessons. One student taught the class how to make a bubble solution. Then we all went outside to blow bubbles. Another student taught a lesson on dinosaurs. We learned a taekwondo self defense form from another classmate. Then, we did an art project in which we made our initials out of popsicle sticks. We had a great time decorating our art projects with markers. We have lots more projects coming up. Check back here to see what else the students teach each other this week.
Bubble Recipe
Here is the recipe used to create a batch of bubbles:
1/3 cup dishwashing liquid (Dawn was recommended)
1 1/4 cups of water
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 drop of food coloring
Combine all ingredients together in a jar or other resealable container. Since you're using food coloring, it's recommended to use outside to avoid staining indoor fixtures, carpet or upholstery.
