School is filled with friends and learning. The primary purpose of school is educating children, and elaborate birthday celebrations can interfere with that goal. Therefore, in this classroom, we keep birthday celebrations simple and healthy.
Our classroom celebration committee will decorate your child's desk on his or her birthday. Also, we will recognize your child with a birthday sticker and a song. There will be times during the day when the birthday child gets to go first or lead an activity in recognition of his or her special day. Your cooperation in helping keep our classroom healthy and on task is greatly appreciated.
